This April we have not stopped participating in different events, where our wine has been the main protagonist.
At the beginning of the month, we had the pleasure of being present at the Barcelona Wine Week. This is an international event that brings together wineries from all over Spain to share the great variety and diversity of products that define our land. On this occasion, we attended together with our colleagues from Vino de la Tierra de Mallorca, where we were able to present our values and processes. And, of course, our wines, spirits and our gin Onze. All our range of products was visited by very influential people in the world of wine, where we can highlight the winemaker Raúl Pérez.
The next event was the Nit del Vi de Palma, held on 22nd April, which after two years without being held, returned to the Misericordia courtyard. Thirty-six Mallorcan wineries took part, with more than 260 wines to taste. This event was of a solidarity nature, as the money collected was donated to the association Hope. Which helps the people most affected by COVID-19. It was a pleasure to relive this legendary event in the capital.
We ended the busy agenda with the Fira del Vi de Pollença, held at the Can Conill venue on 7 and 8 May. In this event we participated 36 Mallorcan wineries together with 21 from DO Monstant, specifically from the area of Falset. Between all the participants we offered between 275 and 300 references to taste, offering a wide range of products. It was a weekend full of emotions, where our manager and oenologist Elisabeth offered a live tasting.
We would like to conclude with a fact that happens in every event and for which we are very proud of, and that is that our Barros de Cecili Submarino 2019 arouses a lot of curiosity, and allows us to share the taste of the Mediterranean with all the attendants.
