Place of Origin:
Pollença, Mallorca

Soil Conditions:
Limestone-chalk soil, mixed with Terra fusca (brown clayey soil)

Grape Variety:

Merlot 100%

Vinification:

Hand picked and selected grapes. Temperature controlled fermentation and storage in stainless steel vats.Elaboration after the méthode champenoise, (traditional bottle fermentation).

Characteristics:
Semi-tangy, dark rosé coloured sparkling wine. Fruity aromas of fresh raspberries and strawberries combined with
a harmonious balance and a medium-long finish.

Analytic Data:
Alcohol 13 % Vol., Acidity 5 g/L, Residual sugar 15 g/L

Recommendation:
Drinking temperature approx. ca. 8 - 10° C

At the "27th International Wine Challenge 2010" in London, two of our wines were awarded. The Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 received a silver medal and the 2005 Merlot was awarded as "Commended".
